On the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine—and ten years into the broader conflict—Kosa invites you to gather in community to honour the pain and loss that persist, to witness one another’s experiences, and to nurture connection, resilience, and hope.
This gathering will be facilitated by members of Kosa Folk Arts and Jeanette Unger, Associate Chaplain with the Ecumenical Chaplaincy at the University of Toronto. Together, we will share songs, poems, movement, and moments of deep attention and care for one another through ritual.

Hart House, a centre for experiential learning at the University of Toronto, has served as a gathering place since 1919. Located in a historic neo-Gothic building, it offers space for arts, dialogue, wellness, and community engagement, welcoming students and the broader public year-round.
